Catch a Wink of Pink

by | 2017-12-28

There is no doubt that pink is the color of 2017. We have seen them in various shades, style and form. From Hollywood (see celebrities in Millennial Pink) to a Starbucks Drink:

I have not tried this drink and most probably will never do so, as I love pink the most as sock boots! This pair from Zara is a definite head turner but most of all, it can transform a simple outfit to a chic and stylish ensemble! Check out this three styles and catch a wink of pink!

Look One: Contrasting Black

They say that every woman must have the LBD (little black dress) and I agree do that. However, I love colors and I just can't resist to "Crayonize" an all- black outfit. I used a pink sash as a belt to break the monotonous black and pink earrings to create a balance. This look is best for an evening dinner or going to a theater or a jazz club.

Look Two: Matching Pink

As we all know, December is a month of spending and we all need to be practical. And yet, it is important to remain stylish with the holiday season! Look Two is a good one as the only thing I changed from Look One is the skirt! And now I have a completely different new look! The skirt's ruffle design and color makes it fun and feminine such that it can be worn on day time! I have worn on a day time date, a brunch and also on an evening meet up with friends.

Look Three: Mixing with Florals

Lastly, for a more casual playful look, I have styled these boots with a floral dress. I have accessorized it with this flowery hair band and a ruffled bag. I just love how ladylike and fun the entire look is. This is perfect for a Sunday afternoon event, tea parties or spending time with your partner's parents!

What do you think of pinks? Is it too girly? Would you wear it? I'm also curious on your thoughts when guys wear pink. I personally love it that I gifted my partner with an old rose colored sweater and he is loving it!
